How to set up your
diffuser perfectly

Four simple steps to activate your Doriane Scents diffuser and fill your space beautifully.

Unbox carefully

Remove the diffuser from its packaging. Unscrew the stopper cap — do not remove the inner seal yet. Place the bottle on a stable, flat surface away from the edge.

Remove the seal

Carefully remove the inner seal from the bottle opening. Tip: hold the bottle away from your face and clothing as the fragrance oil is concentrated and potent.

Insert the reeds

Place all the reed sticks into the bottle. Allow 1–2 hours for the reeds to fully saturate. Then flip the reeds so the dry end is submerged and the wet end faces up.

Position & enjoy

Place your diffuser in a high-traffic area where air circulates naturally — hallways, living rooms, and bathrooms work beautifully. Enjoy up to 6 weeks of fragrance.

Don't place in direct sunlight Direct sunlight accelerates evaporation and can alter the fragrance. Always keep out of direct sun rays.

Don't place near heat sources Keep away from radiators, fireplaces, and air conditioning units. Extreme temperature changes reduce longevity.

Don't touch the oil directly The fragrance oil is concentrated. Avoid skin contact. If contact occurs, wash immediately with soap and water.

Don't place near children or pets Keep out of reach of children and pets. The fragrance oil is not for consumption and can cause irritation.

Don't use on polished surfaces Fragrance oil can damage polished or lacquered surfaces. Always use the protective coaster provided.

How long will my diffuser last?
Our 100ml reed diffusers are formulated to last between 4 and 6 weeks depending on your environment. Warmer rooms with more airflow will diffuse the scent faster. Flipping your reeds weekly helps maintain consistent fragrance.
How many reeds should I use?
We recommend using all the reeds provided for the richest scent experience. If you prefer a lighter fragrance, use fewer reeds. The more reeds in the bottle, the stronger and more immediate the scent throw.
Can I top up my diffuser with more oil?
Yes! We sell refill oils for all our signature scents. When topping up, always replace the reeds with fresh ones as old reeds become clogged with dust and oil residue and will not diffuse effectively.
Where is the best place to put my diffuser?
The best placement is in areas with gentle, natural airflow — entranceways, hallways, living rooms, and bathrooms. Elevated positions such as shelves and countertops allow the scent to drift downward naturally through the room.
My scent seems weak — what can I do?
First, try flipping all the reeds — this instantly refreshes the scent throw. If you've had your diffuser for a while, the reeds may be saturated and clogged. Replace with fresh reeds and ensure the diffuser is not in a stagnant, enclosed area.
